Day 1 cycling: 60km starting Chau Thanh & finished Tra Vinh

Started in the morning with 28 degree temp, but increased through day to 32 degrees, in total today was about 75km.

Initially drove out of Saigon to a safer start point, drove past some impressive building and here's one:

Cycled a variety of roads including those with Vietnamese “careful drivers”, which to be fair they are bonkers but they are careful.

Crossed the river over mostly small low bridges, but when crossing the Mekong it was very high to allow ships under and that was a challenge with cars, trucks, scooters and a few pedal cycles.

Passed coconut processing factories where UK Health & Safety would go crazy:

Reached end of ride ok and raring to go for tomorrows Day 2.

Well, maybe not raring as it was tough.
